The river has two seasons above which the amount of water flow to the maximum. First in the winter December to January, rain falling in the Rocky Mountains and the Ovales, the lesser peak. Second, in the spring between April and melting of snow, along the river a protective wall was constructed of dirt reinforced with high rings of bellows to prevent flooding and damage to the river. I keep in mind a certain wonderful sunset which I witnessed when Mississippi river was new to me and I will never forget it. I always walk across the Mississippi river when I feel blue. The beauty of its landscape color gives strength, activity, and vitality. For these reasons I had to choose this topic.
