Van Gogh Cityscapes

Cities appear in many of Van Gogh's works, whether it be only a single building, or overlooking the whole town.

Vincent Van Gogh himself travled and lived in different cities, mainly in France. Van Gogh spent some time in Paris working along with studying, but much of his work comes from southern France. Van Gogh lived in Arles, from which you can see several of his paintings, before voluntarily admitting himself into the Saint Paul Asylum at Saint Remy.
